A question we are often asked: “Why are you all running for the school board?”

 

In short, we care about education, the children in our district, and our community. We want to see all children at Governor Mifflin receive the highest quality education possible and we want to have a part in making Governor Mifflin the absolute best school district in Berks County and beyond.

 

Our top priority and obligation is to the students first. Always. Then, it is to the taxpayers and people of our district. It is a difficult balancing act that involves trying to make sure both the students and community are happy with the state of the district and what it costs to maintain the district. It is crucial to meet the needs of every student while also keeping costs reasonable for members of our community. It is a complicated challenge, and we’re up to the task!
